"X-ray mammography"

About: Withington Community Hospital

(as a service user),

My appointment was great , the waiting time was virtually nil and the waiting area was not over occupied , I have Asperger's syndrome adhd inattentive apnea ptsd symptoms and a history of secondary narcolepsy type 1 these can result in a dissociative condition when my primary conditions are not managed correctly or exacerbated by negative external environmental influences.

At reception the staff were polite well mannered and efficient , the toilets were accessible and clean,  the hand sanitiser dispensers were full and the department staff were kind, considerate and had a good calming bedside manner.

These three staff members performed my CT scan - one named Kat or Cat whose body language and personal demeanour may work very well for anyone who struggles with stress or people on the autistic spectrum or any other conditions where hyper-awareness of body language can be present. Her colleagues - whose names escape me - all appeared to work well together.

I was in a state of hyper-awareness as I'm recovering from a recent crisis in my condition due to a variety of contributing factors , I would like to thank the team for helping me during this period as I have Asperger's syndrome and don't always display outwardly with body language when I'm in or approaching a crisis .
