"My GP has taken clear actions to help me"

I had an extended/ longer than usual, GP appointment with Dr Sutcliffe. I felt very listened to. 

He was very helpful in helping me to think about the things I have struggled with for many years.  He has helped me to think about what the symptoms I have been experiencing are and taken clear actions to help me.

He has also seemed to understand that my health and well being also has an impact on my parents who I support and vice a versa.

I appreciated being given this time to get to the bottom of the problems I face and not being rushed which I find stressful. 

I have been able to make some long term and more sustainable changes like cutting down on drinking alcohol, quit smoking and generally looking after myself better.

The Elsdale reception team are also always very warm and friendly, and it is a space I feel very safe in.
