(as a parent/guardian),

I had been trying to phone Bangor Hospital Podiatry to discuss my grandson but was on hold for over an hour. 

I phoned UHD Podiatry and spoke to a lovely girl who when I told my dilemma said she would email and give my details to get them to phone me.  She even phoned me back to explain why I couldn't get through and that someone would phone me back in the afternoon. 

I am not sure of her name and want to say Pamela so sorry if not right. Just felt she went above and beyond, especially based on previous experience.

Can I please thank you for sharing your story with us and can I apologise on behalf of the Podiatry dept. in Bangor Community Hospital for you poor experience in trying to contact them. I am also delighted that your experience was totally different when you contacted Podiatry dept. in the UDH. I will pass your story over to the Lead Podiatrist and to the staff in the UHD as I know they will be delighted to read your very kind words. They will also be using this to identify and address any problems with the telephone system in Bangor.
