About: York Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

Had to go to the A&E dept of York hospital November 2023. Had a hip problem that I need some medical assistance with. We were there for about 6 hours. The dept was very busy.

Although it was a long time, we were met with nothing but helpful, informative staff. All were friendly and helpful, always had smiles on their faces. Credit to all the different medical personnel we came in contact with. Even the senior doctor took time to explain the medical treatment his department was delivering. 

Well done NHS York.
