"Kept informed of waiting time"

(as the patient),

Recently I had my first visit to the ENT clinic.

The clinic was running very late and I had to wait over 2 hours for my appointment. However the staff were keeping everyone informed by way of a simple whiteboard system "currently estimating your appointment will be X minutes late".

As always, being kept properly informed really does help, and when I did get to see the consultant (Mr Ray?) he was extremely professional and thorough.
