"It really is a brilliant team"

About: Borders Community Services / Community Maternity service Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

We are extremely grateful to have received such amazing, person centred care throughout our second pregnancy. From the support of the Teviot Community Midwives, to the staff in labour ward and Ward 16.

Kerry and Camae made our induction process as relaxed and enjoyable as possible, whilst keeping us well informed and allowing us to make informed decisions. We felt well looked after by Cora during the later stages of labour and during the quick delivery of our baby.

The care provided in labour ward and ward 16 is second to none, it really is a brilliant team and we are so grateful to have experienced this care twice.

Thank you so much for sharing with us how you felt about your journey throughout your pregnancy, labour and birth. It is wonderful you felt well informed and that your care was centred around what was important to you.

The team will be delighted to hear your kind words. Supporting women, their birth partners and families is important to us and it is lovely to hear you felt well supported.

I hope things are going smoothly at home for you all. I appreciate how busy you will be. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your experience.

Best wishes

Shona
