"Lack of covid protection"

My mum is yet again in Collingtree B ward 

On my mum arrival she was told that a patient had covid 

This obviously made my mum very worried as she has underlying health problems 

The nurse / nurses and staff was not wearing any mask in that area 

I found this very disturbing and of course worried for my mum safety 

They say you go into hospital to get better but now days you either come away from there with covid or feeling worse 

Visiting my mum you need to go through Collingtree A ward 

I sanitised my hands going through and notice a member of medical staff literally blowing his nose and sneezing etc 

This person was not wearing any ppe and did not wash their hands afterwards before going back into the ward 

I found this very very alarming  

I was disgusted they even said to me that I should sanitise my hands which I always do plus wear a mask visiting my mum 

I am a carer so I need to protect my mum plus those I care for 

Northampton General Hospital needs to protect those that are poorly too
