From the community midwives at Galashiels through to the outstanding staff on the labour ward and ward 16 at the Borders General the care we have received was consistently compassionate and high quality. We were made to feel safe and respected by everyone that we met. Exceptional thanks to Helena, labour ward midwife, Katie, student midwife and Jen, community midwife. All three of them have been a huge part of our journey and went above and beyond what we expected. We are so thankful for the arrival of our beautiful daughter and that it could happen at our local hospital.
