About: New Stobhill Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

This is my 3rd acl reconstruction at Stobhill day surgery unit. The nursing staff are incredibly attentive and thorough. Pre op I was waiting about 4 hours for my surgery, the staff created a peaceful and calming environment enabling me to get some much needed sleep. Post-op nothing was a hassle to the nurses and they regularly came to check I was OK, kept me updated on what was happening and made me feel like I could ask for some water, analgesia etc without feeling like a burden. They made my experience as smooth and hassle free as getting surgery can be.
