About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Theatre Direct Ward

(as a relative),

There is no privacy in this unit. We overheard a doctor inform a different patient of his diagnosis and personal details related to this. I did not want to listen to any of this and ended up putting my fingers in my ears. 

A different doctor asked the ward clerk to act as a chaperone when he saw a female patient which I felt was completely inappropriate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you on here.

I was saddened to see that there was no privacy on the ward and that you could hear personal conversations between the doctor and other Patients. I am also sorry to hear that you felt another doctors actions were inappropriate.
