About: Lander Medical Practice

I have been a patient with Lander for about 10 years. in that time I've seen Lander perform well and go through a pandemic and come out the other side.

But in the last year I've noticed more and more people are openly unhappy with this practice. and me too. I feel like I cannot talk to my GP without my GP dismissing me, patronising me and making me feel like a waste of time. I now avoid going and sometimes I put my own health at risk- I'm under consultant care and I'm encouraged to seek medical help when required.

Last week, a receptionist talked over me, made me feel silly and then gave me incorrect medical advice. Thankfully I didn't follow this.

It's just the lack of respect for unwell patients. The tone from the doctors (on the phone, in person and via text!)

I can confirm that this doctor surgery has a poor reputation in Truro and the surrounding area. Their reputation is so negative it's effectively blocking people from accessing the care they need.

We encourage feedback, both good or bad as this gives us an opportunity to review and improve our service to you. The information provided can then also be used for training our staff.
