Smoking has been banned across the whole site of King's Mill Hospital for some years now - there's a post about it on this site from 2016.
Despite this, the smoking ban is not being enforced.
Yesterday, in front of the big sign saying that smoking was banned on the entire site, there were people smoking cigarettes - there was a big bin, used as an ash tray, filled with cigarettes.
It was impossible to get into the hospital without getting a lungful of smoke.
