"I need not have been nervous about my cataract surgery"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was very nervous while waiting for my cataract surgery but I need not have worried. Everyone was wonderful and could not have been kinder.

A nurse held my hand during surgery and the surgeon chatted to me while he operated which meant that it seemed like no time at all before I was sitting up ready to go home.

My heartfelt thanks to the team!

Dear BMRam,
Thanks for taking the time to post about your experience whilst having cataract surgery. I am glad that you were reassured and had a positive experience. I will pass this onto all the staff who will be delighted to hear.

I hope you are recovering well,

Thanks

Kind Regards
