"A great touch of care and empathy"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service

(as a relative),

Our father has recently had three incidents that have required the Scottish Ambulance Service in the Paisley area. Each time the response has been excellent with extremely timely response and transfer to the Royal Alexandra in Paisley. This includes yesterday when Ross and Michelle were the paramedics that carried out the transfer.

The care and empathy displayed was exceptional. Our father was handled with great professionalism and dignity.

When transfer to the RAH was complete both Ross and Michelle made sure they said good bye to my father.

A couple of hours later we were still in A&E as our father had investigations carried out. Ross and Michelle both approached us independently to enquire how our father was progressing. A great touch of care and empathy.

Thank you for your excellent care and compassion.

Dear Callum1967

Thank you for sharing your story.

It is lovely to read your kind words about Ross and Michelle.

If you would like me to pass this on to them may I ask that contact our Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, Care Opinion name, your father's name and the address and date we attended.

I do hope your dad is feeling better.

Kindest regards

David
