After discharge from a seven week hospital stay in a functioning mental health unit in Angus my husband has received weekly visits from Kay his care manager and psychiatric nurse based in Whitehills, Forfar.
What a brilliant individual she is - totally empathetic, kind and a great listener. She understands what is being said and makes sure she has fully understood by summarizing effectively. Her visits have been instrumental in enabling visible progress to be made and we can’t thank her enough. Such a professional person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills! Her visits have made this challenging time much easier and have benefited us greatly. Kay’s excellent level of knowledge and wide experience shine through on every visit and when she leaves we both feel lighter and more able to cope.
She is a real asset to the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership and deserves to be highly commended for her excellent support, care and professional practice.
