"No notification for change of appointment"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

Was supposed to have a telephone consultation after waiting and fighting for an appoint for 6 months.  Time of appointment came and went with no call, called the appointments line as only one that was open and the appointment was changed to a face-to-face appointment earlier in the day, no notification given to me and been told as I did not attend I could be struck off the list for an operation. I was told earlier this year it was urgent and needed done ASAP. I even got a letter stating that it would be done within 3 months.  Still nothing and now might need to start over again, as it seems to me that the consultants don't care and use COVID as an excuse for not doing any work.
