"I didn't make an appointment"

(as the patient),

Apparently I'd missed an appointment that I didn't even make and then I get a follow up message saying I hope you had a great appointment at the doctors lol more a disappointment, so I'm no wiser.

I've just tried phoning the GP and they're saying there's no one available to take my call and hung up on me. It must be a very late lunch others as it was gone three p.m. when I called and I don't know what time they shut I never have done, I guess I could go to their website but I'm just can't be bothered to be honest, it would have been nice of them to follow up with, we're sorry you're not feeling well because you missed your appointment or something along that line but no.🤣

P.s.

It's hard enough to get a doctors appointment face to face as it is when I need one, let alone when they want to see me.

Thank you for your feedback. To enable me to look into this matter I would need more information about the appointment.

I would like to explain that once all of our telephone lines are being used ie. total amount of patients in telephone call que, the next caller will hear the no lines available message. We are currently updating our telephone system to enable us to offer more phone lines and patient call back service.

Finally, as we have numerous patients not attending appointments we cannot always follow up non attenders.

If you would like to discuss this matter with me further please do not hesitate in contacting the practice manager.
