"Won my little girl over"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My 3-year-old swallowed something. Knowing we'd need ED, I called phone first. I got a prompt call back from Dr Burke, who was very helpful and agreed she needed ED.

Arrived in CAH ED and waited, saw the friendly triage nurse and continued to wait to see the doctor. We saw Dr Ciara, who was so lovely!

My little girl is autistic and rarely will interact with anyone, let alone strangers, but Dr Ciara persisted and won my little girl over. She managed to examine her with no distress whatsoever.

We were in and out in 3-4 hours, thankfully all good.
