"Their help and support has been incredible"

I wanted to give some positive feedback at a time when it feels our NHS is under constant pressure and criticism.

At 30, I was diagnosed with the chronic illness ME/CFS. It has been an incredibly challenging few years coming to terms with the significant impact this has had on my life as a young woman.

I was referred to the Centre for Integrative Care here in Glasgow, and I want to say their help and support has been incredible, despite the long waiting lists and pressures on staff.

In particular, I have required supporting documentation about my illness, to allow me to access additional help both at my university and in other spaces. Their team have dealt with my requests happily, and it is evident that the consultants and their secretaries take great care to ensure we receive the help we need. I am so grateful for this!
