Major surgery on colon. Well looked after throughout stay, amazed at the ground covered by all the staff each day and night. I think these people are undervalued when you look at their wages - in short, overworked and under paid.

My stay was in Surgical ward 2.  In particular a nurse Tina stood out, in short a confident ,well experienced, professional.,  an ultra multi-tasker in every sense who everyone worked well with.

This is the NHS we should value more.

To all the staff, thank you.

I think more money should be put into equip/ staff to quicken treatment(and improve diagnostics).

One shortage observed - no MRI scanner, surely this is a must for any major hospital. Prince or pauper, treatment should be same, best practice care applied to all.

Good Afternoon Dodgy Colon

My name is Deborah Dyson. I am the ward Sr in S2. Thankyou for taking the time to share your experience with us whilst on our ward.

I was delighted to read that your stay with us was so positive. The staff work exceptionally hard in very challenging situations. Tina will be delighted with your kind words and I will share your experience with Tina and the whole team

An MRI scanner would be a great addition to Causeway

I wish you well in your recovery

Debbie
