What I liked
This hospital has a lot of cleanliness and administration problems and although I have not yet recieved any surgery at the present time as an out-patient, I have spoken to many other patients who have been infected by MRSA and other bacteriological infections.
The investigative treatment I am having was fine until I needed to have a magnetic scan for the causes of epilepsy. This procedure could be fatal to me as I have a replacement aorta heart valve. An investigation into it's component parts needed to be found out before any scan could take place. Then I was sent an appointment for a scan before the situation was consulted upon with myself, specialist and GP.
What could be improved
I believe a quality assurance team should investigate this hospital thoroghly and make major changes to both it's administration and standards of cleanliness. These problems have existed for a very long time now and it is time to tackle these problems head on before related fatalities begin to escalate.
