"I'm proud of myself and really happy how far I've come."

About: Hull ReNew

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was referred by EHASH around my cannabis use. I wanted to reduce at first but then wanted a negative test and have now been motivated to not smoke cannabis anymore. I've had 3 negative drug tests now and I'm 2 months clean! I keep a log on my phone app. I can see loads of benefits from not smoking anymore and feel loads better in myself.

I might like to stop smoking cigarettes next!

I'm proud of myself and really happy how far I've come. I can't believe how fast the last 2 months have gone! I can't see myself going backwards now because I've come so far.

Holistically supporting adult service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence; empowering Service Users to build their own recovery capital and supporting them to move into long term sustained recovery and social (re) integration. It is my responsibility to co-ordinate the work and development of all Pathways to Recovery through Peer Mentors and provide a point of liaison for Service Users and their feedback.

Congratulations on being two months cannabis-free! It's awesome that you started with the goal of cutting back and now have three negative drug tests. Keeping a log on your phone is a great idea, and it's fantastic that you're feeling so much better overall.

Considering quitting smoking cigarettes is another positive next step and you can get more help from the Smoke Free Hull service should you decide to do that. Be proud of your progress, and keep moving forward. I wish you continued success on your journey to a healthier and happier life!
