"Very upset with how this is impacting my life"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

After years of suffering in pain I finally managed to get my doctor to refer me to gynaecology.

I first seen one doctor to be told to try the coil. I have since seen another consultant and they referred me for laproscopic surgery. This was early last year, since then I have had 2 pre-op appointments with numerous being cancelled and rearranged throughout.

Recently, I was to have a review with the consultant. My appointment time came and went and no call. I called to be told a call had been made. I have had my phone on loud all day, no missed call and been told they will try to call me again.

I have called again 3 hours later to ask what I do. To be told if I do not get the call I will be referred to another doctor and another appointment sent out. The member of staff on the phone spoke over me the full time with no real care and my partner actually heard the full conversation.

I have waited five months for a review telephone appointment. I have spent the day in tears and how this is impacting my life so much for years.
