About: Grantham & District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I had my knee arthroscopy at Grantham Hospital as a day case. I was extremely nervous as I have had a previous bad experience with anaesthetic. The nurse on the ward, Eileen, was amazing and so kind and caring, all of the theatre staff were great and explained everything. Everyone on the ward when I returned couldn’t do enough for me, it was a really positive experience and the surgical ward and staff are a credit to ULHT.

Thank you so much for this post – and the really amazing comments and I will ensure Ailene reads them and all of the team through to theatres. reading the words – credit to the ULHT is very comforting as the Matron of the unit and I am assured we are giving the patients the best care we can and I am so pleased you had that positive experience with us after your previous one.
