About: Community Mental Health Services / Perinatal Mental Health Service

(as a service user),

I have had the pleasure of working with the forth valley perinatal team since my baby daughter was born and before. I couldn’t praise them any higher, the team that worked with me after years of mental health problems including years of inpatient believed in me and helped me believe in my full ability as a mum.

They have helped me move forward in ways I didn’t think were possible and have allowed me to be as well as I will ever be. Their support was beyond 100%. They have enabled me to live my best life and more and have encouraged me to pursue a dream I’ve had for many years of helping mental health services from a experience based level, they are also helping me to do this through there services. This service and those who work in it deserve more recognition than they get. As massive thank you to all involved in my care.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience of the Perinatal Service. It is amazing to hear that after many years of contact with services, you are now well and have moved forward in your life with your daughter. Your review clearly provides a message of hope and I am grateful that you have taken the time to share.

I know that Lynn and Dr M will truly appreciate you providing feedback, in relation to the support you have received. We value all of our feedback and I look forward to sharing this with the wider team.

It is wonderful to hear that as an expert user of services, you are generously willing to share your experience with our colleagues and this will be invaluable knowledge and learning for us.
