"I doubt I could have had better treatment anywhere else"

About: Cowal Community Hospital (formerly Dunoon General) / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I attended A&E in Dunoon Community Hospital twice recently, due to an infection in my arm - I am currently receiving chemotherapy for cancer.

The staff who attended to me were very supportive, professional, friendly and kind. I felt very relieved to be cared for by a doctor and nurse who had a wealth of knowledge and made me feel at ease, the professionals who dealt with me were reassuring and I felt very safe in their care.

My issue was dealt with quickly and the staff knew exactly what to do.  In addition to this, the department was immaculate, tidy and well organised. I doubt I could have had better treatment anywhere else.
