(as the patient),

I had my surgery the recently at University Hospital Wishaw. I'd waited a couple of years for this and was fairly scunnered with the hernia as it was interfering with my ability to exercise and I'd put on weight this year. I was in pain and discomfort and also embarrassed by having a huge testicle where the intestine had slipped down. Fortunately, despite being re-referred a couple of times as urgent I got a cancelled appointment. I was happy with the level of care from the staff.
