"Big thank you to Childrens A&E"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Accident & Emergency (Emergency Care)

(as a parent/guardian),

Our teenage son suffered a minor head injury that wouldn't stop bleeding so up to Children's A&E we went. The lady on reception was lovely & very understanding at how stressful it was for him.

It was 8.30 at night so we thought we would have a long wait, luckily we were seen fairly soon by Dr Ioannis. The bleeding had stopped by this point and Dr Ioannis cleaned him up & carried out a neurological assessment which really put my son (and me) at ease. A little bit of glue to put him back together again and off we went home, sore but happy.

We would both like to say a big thank you to all the team up there, we really are so very lucky to have you all.

Dear Mum85

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following attendance at A&E with your son. I hope he is now fully fit and recovered from his injury.

I am pleased to hear that you did not have a lengthy wait to be seen and that all the staff were able to put your son at ease throughout his examination and procedure. The staff work really hard to make a difference in ensuring as positive an experience is had by the children and their families as possible.

I am sure they will be delighted to hear that they have made a difference with your son and yourself and will ensure they receive a copy of your lovely feedaback

Thank you again
