Wanted to pass on my very positive experience of the SDAU yesterday. I was admitted for day surgery. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff working there who treated me with kindness and care from the minute I went.
Alyson should be commended on running a very professional and efficient unit where everyone is treated with respect and dignity during a difficult and anxious time.
The unit ran like clockwork and liaison with theatre staff was very impressive. Everything was explained fully and I felt listened to throughout my stay. The coffee and toast was amazing and thanks to the lovely student who took time to make it.
I have no negative comments and hope this helps anyone else for the future if being treated there. It's amazing. Well done to you all, sorry I can't remember all your names. I also want to thank the consultant Miss Barker and her team, exceptional care, so thank you all xx
