About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Endoscopy and day care

(as the patient),

I attended an appointment as a patient instead of member of staff, as soon as that wrist band goes on, you feel quite vulnerable and on the receiving end for a change!  The staff in the endoscopy suite were amazing to say the least, they were friendly, supportive, knowledgable and controlled my slight panic attack at the start of the procedure with ease.

Well done team!

Hi

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience in the endoscopy unit. I totally understand the difference when you are the patient instead of member of staff.

I will ensure to pass on your very kind words to the team, we understand how daunting it is to attend the unit for these procedures. What you have described the team to be is what we strive for on a daily basis.

Keep well

Kind Regards

Michelle Gilbertson SCN for Endoscopy Unit
