"Attitude of nurse"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Out-of-Hours

(as the patient),

I turned up at Out of Hours at Dunfermline Queen Margaret Hospital - it was a Monday evening, as I was advised to do so by another nurse on the Saturday evening!

I was called and felt criticised before I'd barely got out my chair for only giving it 2 days on antibiotics -  I returned based on the information the previous nurse had given me.

NHS 24 said nothing about it being 2 days. Yet this nurse felt the need to be vocal about it in front of everyone around. Then tried to pass it off as a joke. I wasn't there just for something to do.

The nurse then appeared to go to reception to make sure that everyone there knew I was unhappy with the way they were dealing with me.

In my view, it was unprofessionalism to the highest level!
