"Robotic assisted surgery"

About: Victoria Hospital / Colorectal Unit Victoria Hospital / SEAL (Surgical Elective Admission Lounge)

(as a carer),

I had major robotic assisted surgery carried out by Mr Koffemann and his team followed by a two night stay in SHDU and then one night in ward 44 before being discharged. Whilst an inpatient I was also looked after by the ERAS and stoma nurses. Throughout my time in hospital I received exceptional, professional care and support. Just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in looking after me.

I was truly amazed to spend 9 hours in theatre on the Monday and be back home on the Thursday afternoon. Truly outstanding work by Mr Koffemann and his team.
