"Visit to Thornton Gardens"

Having just moved to Scotland a year ago we have been trying to get our daughter into respite as we had used this service back in Northern Ireland.

New move, unfamiliar surroundings we were very nervous with this new step. But we have just had a visit to Thornton Gardens and it has left us with very positive vibes.  The staff made us very welcome on arrival which put our minds at ease.  As we were given a tour of the house it just got better and better with what Thornton Gardens had to offer.  The decor, facilities and general ambiance of the house was just lovely.  Throughout the visit our daughter was very relaxed and calm, chatting to staff and very excited as she was shown each room.  

We now look forward to our daughter having her first respite stay in the next couple of weeks as we really feel she will be looked after very well and she will be happy as she has talked very positively to us about Thornton Gardens.

When we were driving home our daughter was very excited and just a few of the things she said:  I’m happy 

                                          The girls are bubbly 

                                          I love the pamper room 

                                          I like the London and Disney bedrooms

                                          I love the American Diner

                                          The staff are lovely
