"Worried about painful side effects of chemo"

At the end of October, I had my 6th chemo treatment for ovarian cancer. Not the first cycle and this time the side effects were really painful and worse than usual. Especially my back.

I telephoned the chemo suite at Boston Pilgrim where I attend and Bea answered. She was so professional and immediately reassuring. A speedy triage then I was told I would get a call back and I did from the OS Lauren who immediately referred me to the Lincoln Assessment Centre Waddington Ward.

Lincolnshire is a big county, huge distances to travel, however yet again the response is fantastic due to the wonderful staff, doctors, nurses, radiographers, drivers everyone that works here. I attended Waddington and was spoken to, given medication and a MRI booked. So much better now and reassured.

Thankyou so much.
