"I felt in safe hands"

About: Victoria Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had a planned induction within the consultant led unit at VHK. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left I felt in safe hands, very well cared for, listened to and all staff involved in my care ensured I felt at ease. This helped reduce my anxiety.

My midwife sarah was an absolute angel, she was calming, very professional and always explained what was going on and what she was doing. My daughter was delivered safely thanks to a great team.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. We are pleased that you felt well informed and supported. Feeling safe and in capable professional hands is so important in reducing anxiety and empowering you in decision making regarding your care.

Thank you for your feedback for the team and especially Sarah, I will ensure they all receive it. It really makes our day and encourages us to ensure all women and their families feel this way when they have been in our care.

Congratulations again

Pamela Higgins
