"Ward 30 - Tameside/Ashton Under-Lyme Hospital"

Thank you for your comments. I am sure you will be pleased to know that the hospital has just embarked upon a major building and improvement scheme which will provide up to the minute clinical facilities for the people of Tameside and Glossop. The scheme is due to complete in 2010, and anyone visiting the site will see that substantial improvement of the site has already taken place. Ward 30 will be moved to another, more modern location as part of the overall process of improvement. In addition, the hospital will be undergoing a deep clean during the first three months of 2008, and we will be concentrating on improving the appearance of a number of areas, as well as giving them a thorough cleaning.

I am sorry not to have responded sooner. However, Tameside General Hospital has only recently obtained the facility to reply to comments made on this website.
