"Great Experience of continuity of midwifery care"

I had a great experience with the continuity of midwifery carer service. I was enrolled in this new service shortly after my booking appointment. I have received excellent care in the antenatal, perinatal and postnatal period. My named midwife was Briege who is an absolute star, she couldn’t have done more to help me throughout the whole time I was in her care. Sarah looked after us in the perinatal period, she helped facilitate my birth preferences as well as offering options such as the birthing stool which I found great. We needed some extra care after my daughter’s birth and this was all handled perfectly by the team ensuring we had good outcomes. I had the most wonderful birth experience and the CoMC team had a pivotal role in achieving that. I was consultant led and seeing the same team of midwives pre- appointments really put me at ease. This team is a credit to the trust, I truly can not thank them enough! And feel truly privileged who have been looked after by this wonderful team.
