"I feel that no one was helpful or tried to calm me down"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I feel that no one was helpful or tried calm me down.

I told them I was nervous and all the doctor and nurse did was tell me to hold still and not to move - but when having a camera shoved down your throat it is very difficult!

Eventually they gave up on me and told me they can't do it if I'm going to fidget.

Also while waiting to be discharged the nurse kept taking new people in and not myself, even though I was the first out, I feel they completely ignored me several times.

Dear starhe58,

I am sorry to read your post about your care and treatment here at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Would it be possible for you to provide me with a little more detail about which department you were seen in, so I can ensure that your comments are feedback to the relevant team.

With kindest regards

Rachel Walker - Patient Experience Team
