"Amazing thought and care for my 6 year old son"

About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had to go for a blood test at our local general practice, Racecourse Road Medical Group, Ayr.

Angela who carried out the test went above and beyond and I was completely speechless at the amazing level of care provided to ensure my son didn't feel scared. Angela had brought a wee Halloween torch to distract my son and some sweets to eat after the test. Angela and her colleague were just brilliant at distracting him and gave him so much praise.

As we left the surgery my son said "mum that was really fun!"

What could have been a traumatic experience for a 6 year old was the complete opposite and that is down to the amazing thought and care that Angela provided.
