"Glenmore Unit at Coathill Hospital"

About: Coathill Hospital / Glenmore Unit (Care of the Elderly)

(as a relative),

My 86 year old Mum fell and broke her hip. She had a total hip replacement in Glasgow Royal where the staff were wonderful. She was then transferred to Monklands Hospital where she received ongoing care and rehab. Unfortunately due to her other health conditions she required a further period of rehab and care and was transferred to Coathill Hospital at Coatbridge. I was not at all sure about this move as mostly elderly patients who were all quite unwell with various health conditions. However the staff were amazing! They were So caring and friendly to my Mum and kept us (family) up to date with her care. I cannot fault the care she received at all. On her discharge home they were also very supportive of her ongoing needs which were transferred to community care. This was so helpful. We just want to say thank you to all the staff at the Glenmore Unit.

Dear Famgib23

thank you for taking the time to give such wonderful feedback to the staff at the Glenmore Unit regarding the care given to your mum. I hope she continues to recover well at home.

I will ensure this lovely feedback is shared with SCN McCreaddie and the rest of the team at Coathill it will mean so much to them.

kind regards
