"Felt heard and relaxed because of their amazing care"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had an accident and injured her thumb, we had to attend minor injuries at the Vale of Leven Hospital where she was looked after by the charge nurse practitioner, and a lovely nursing auxiliary who where both so lovely and kind, reassured her and made her feel better. She was in a lot of pain before we went in and with their help she is now feeling so much better!

The time they took, to look after her, explain to her what was going to happen and how things had to be done, they made her feel heard and she relaxed because of their amazing care.

Dear Audrey 85

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the Minor Injuries Unit at the Vale of Leven. I am pleased that the charge nurse and auxiliary were able to reassure your daughter and took the time to explain what was happening and why. (Hopefully this also helped to reassure you).

I am glad to hear that she is feeling much better.

Best wishes

Nicole
