About: Paediatric surgery / Children's Surgical Unit Ward 30

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had a tonsillectomy in late October at Ward 30.  I just wanted to say that the care that was provided by all staff was excellent both, prior to his and following the surgery.  I would particularly like to mention student nurse, Leah, who was assigned to look after my son during his stay on the ward, as my son said she was his favourite although he also said everyone else was lovely too! Praise indeed from a teenager.  Everything was seamless, staff took time to explain the procedure and relieve any anxieties.
