So I have waited 3 years since I was told that the wait times were 2 years, only to be told that the wait I have left is another 3 years atop of that. I am forced to go private for my transgender care due to lack of support.
On top of that, I suffer very badly with my mental health but despite numerous referrals and promises, nothing came of it and I have been left neglected. But they're quick to prescribe medication which costs me a tenner a month.
The NHS has collapsed into nothingness as far as I can see. And I don't blame them with the government never funding them.
This is only a brief overview of my story since I don't wanna give away specifics but one particular appalling case occurred at my GP surgery with myself. I made a request on AskMyGP and they closed my request in the late evening, claiming to have fulfilled it. There was no phone call, no email. NOTHING. It was closed with NOTHING. And it was an urgent request with some dangerous thoughts I'd expressed.
The NHS has collapsed people, and we need to get someone in power who can fund these poor docs instead of spending BILLIONS on stuff we don't even need.
