(as a carer),

My husband was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and referred to OT Carrie for mobility help.

From initial assessment to sign-off yesterday, Carrie helped with apparatus, attitude, exercises and motivation! He now can walk a little, maneuver his wheelchair & get out and about.

I can't thank her enough, we have the constant support of the palliative care team diabetic & dietetic teams. We are so grateful for our GP, Dr. Burnett, for a quick referral, the upper GI team in Doncaster for coordinating treatment to make his (and my) lives easier. I think that DRI - AMU & ward 24 - have amazing, overworked, staff.
