"Outstanding care"

I had an OGD and colonoscopy done at STH. My doctor was Dr Murphy. I was so nervous and anxious about the procedure and having to go into hospital .

As soon as I checked in I was greeted by friendly reception staff. Then greeted by fabulous nurses who put me at ease. Nurse Lynn and Jissny were fabulous at taking away any anxiety I had. They explained the procedure and went through every step of what would happen.

When in the procedure room I was introduced to all the staff and DR. I was instantly put at ease with the professionalism of the staff, their empathy was on a different level. They kept me calm and chatted away throughout the procedure Lynn was so understanding of my fears and held my hand when needed.

I must admit I felt extremely safe in the hands of the nurses. Dr Murphy was so understanding and never rushed me he took his time with me and reassured me I would be ok. He was a gentleman and very professional and even had a laugh with me.
