Just been discharged after spending the last week in Ward 3B at the Ulster Hospital.
The staff couldn’t have been better. Each and everyone of them are so good at what they do but there are a few who deserve a special mention Dr Arran, Deputy Sister Katherine, Nurse Chloe, Nursing Student Alice & how could I forget Fred, the all round jack of all trades. I wouldn’t have got through the week if it wasn’t for Fred and his personality. He keeps everyone, patients included, on their toes and is a real credit to the NHS.
The first four nights of my stay were spent in a Corridor Bed which wasn’t ideal but the staff ensured I remained comfortable until I was able to get a room on Tuesday.
If you had the liberty of being able to choose your ward when admitted I’d definitely make sure it was 3B in the future. They have been absolutely brilliant and as I say a credit to the NHS. Well done 3B!
"Excellent standard of care"
