"It has helped me to have a better understanding"

About: Parent Support Link

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I enjoyed attending the parent support group sessions and find that it has helped me to have a better understanding of drug abuse and how to cope with and deal with my son's issues and safeguard my own mental health.

I'm delighted to hear that you've had a positive experience attending the parent support group sessions. Joining a support group can be a valuable resource in navigating such challenging circumstances.

Gaining a better understanding of drug use and learning effective coping strategies can make a significant difference in your and your son's overall well-being. These sessions often provide a safe space for people to share their experiences, exchange insights, and offer each other emotional support.

Thank you for sharing this with us all, take care.
