My dad was taken to hospital on Saturday with a suspected heart attack. This was a very scary time for me and my family as, although he has a history of heart problems, it has been many years since this type of scare.
The staff were most helpful in explaining exactly what tests were planned, which had already taken place and why they were all important. This helped us to understand the situation.
After 12 hours in A&E it turned out that it wasn't a heart attack - much to all our relief. I think it's important that the staff know how important their open, friendly and approachable nature was in helping us to understand the situation, no matter what the diagnosis. Thank you!
"Thank you"
