"Breast clinic unit"

About: Breast Screening Unit

(as the patient),

I find it strange that the women have to change and wear pink gowns in the waiting room whereas the men do not. It feels quite exposing and I also imagine it would feel uncomfortable for the male patients sitting in a room full of women of all ages who are in gowns and they are not. It is also cold waiting in a room for quite a length of time in this gown. I can’t think of a reason why this would be that the women have to and the men don’t, it doesn’t take very long to take off a bra. If the issue is the pink gowns then simply make the gowns a gender neutral colour as people of all genders can be checked for or have breast cancer.
