(as a relative),

My family and I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the nurses and doctors of Peldon ward during the recent admission of my late husband.

From the time he arrived, my husband was shown nothing but care, kindness, compassion and empathy during this very difficult and sad time.

Thank you all so much.

Many thanks for your comments and taking the time to submit them. It is always gratifying to read emails like yours and to know that the work of staff in the NHS is appreciated as I know it can be an effort to write at a time like this. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive.

We have a quarterly At Our Best Awards scheme which recognises staff achievements and thanks them for what they do. It has a team category, an individual and a volunteer category.
